HashPack 2023 year in review

It’s been a momentous year!

As we say goodbye to December, let’s reflect on some of the highlights and achievements of 2023.

Firstly, thank you to our amazing community. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We started the year strong with our seamless, one-click email login solution. Our partnership with Magic Link made HashPack account creation even easier. Better yet, this new login feature is decentralised, non-custodial, and secure.

Shortly after, we launched our long-awaited iOS app. It was a crucial step in our vision to make Web3 more accessible for everyone. HashPack is now available on Android, iOS, Chrome, and every major browser.

Secure Trade was the first major feature we added to HashPack in January 2022. With the launch of Secure Trade V2 in 2023, you can trade HTS fungible tokens, HBAR, and NFTs instead of just NFTs for HBAR. Not only that, any combination of assets can be sent in a single trade!

In April, we launched our Store, a groundbreaking milestone for the Hedera network and a testament to our commitment to innovation and community-driven growth. Our focus for the HashPack Store is to provide a curated collection of high-quality, utility-driven NFTs that add value to your digital experience.

To celebrate the launch of our store, we released two limited-edition commemorative HashPack NFTs. The support was overwhelming, and we’ve since rewarded our amazing HashPack gold community with an exclusive theme, discounts, and airdrops from partners such as Karate Combat, Earthlings, and Liithos.

We’ve got even more plans to reward gold holders in 2024 – keep your eyes peeled!

In June, we partnered with D’CENT hardware wallet which secures funds with biometric protection. Better still, with Citadel Wallet’s device launching soon, there will be even more ways to secure your Hedera assets with HashPack.

After the successful public beta of the HashPack Store, we rolled out our first items, themes. Along with NFT profiles and web3 domains, themes add another dimension of personalisation to your HashPack experience.

Furthermore, as the themes are limited NFT collectibles, you'll be able to trade and sell them with other users.

We then collaborated with SentX to bring you their NFT marketplace market right inside HashPack. Search for your favourite NFT collections and buy or list your NFTs from the convenience of your wallet.

As experts in distributed ledger technology, we launched our web3 consultancy, HashPack Studio. Since its inception, we’ve been busy working behind the scenes to empower organisations to build engaging, frictionless, and compliant web3 solutions.

Last, but by no means least, is Hedera’s integration with WalletConnect. After a huge collaborative effort between HashPack, Hgraph, Swirlds Labs, and other Hedera community members, we’re almost ready to launch WalletConnect on Hedera.

In the first quarter, we have exclusive new features we can’t wait to share with you, benefiting both creators and the community alike.

There’ll also be new themes, rewards for gold holders, and exciting collaborations with the biggest projects in the space.
