Genfinity – King Solomon – Founder & CEO
What is up everybody Solomon here. I hope you guys are all having a fantastic day as you guys know within Genfinity’s Hedera Corner we're knocking out as many Hedera Hashgraph community and project interviews as possible and then on top of that also streamlining that through a partnership that we have with HashPack that just began in December. Today super excited to have Mazin from Cyber Hedera. The Co-creator of Cyber Hedera is with us today, Mazin how's your day going so far?

Cyber Hedera - Mazin – Founder
All good all good it's been a quite a lazy day today we've been on the grind with a lot lately so kind of taking it slowly today.

Genfinity – King Solomon – Founder & CEO
I hear you man, I mean it's getting back into the swing of things we just had a holiday in the states so trying to knock out as much as we possibly can here. So, regarding Cyber Hedera, can you describe the project for the community for people that may not be aware of what you guys are doing? Give us a little bit of an overview with Cyber Hedera.

Cyber Hedera - Mazin – Founder
Basically we started about a year ago, last December to be exact. When it started it was supposed to be a pure art project. It was just art focused since we have an amazing artist Richard we call him Cyber Van Gogh, he's a talented guy and we wanted to showcase and support his art. That was our first journey with exploring how to manage and run an NFT project. Basically we started by launching 10 animated creatures, we called them the Genesis Cyborgs or The Godborgs and people loved it. We started crafting in a nice community there, and from that moment on we started adding more and more to our road map and our white paper to see how can we scale and grow the project. So it’s been a whole year since then and from the Genesis we released our Gen 1 Wilburgs, we released our Gen 2, we released our own HTS Token and we have a full-fledged ecosystem now. Our holder are claiming that token daily and they're using it in the system to purchase customized art pieces, joining in auctions, and soon to come they will be able to buy their own customized merchandise just using that token. We already gave that token value in multiple DEXES so our holders can already claim it, and swap it, in a sense of passive income stream if you would call it that. We've grown a lot since then, and the journey has been really fun with a great community. The Hedera community, that brilliant, brilliant tight knit community and we've just really been lucky to land in the right place at the right time with the right people.

Yeah 100% I mean this is normally the follow up to that overview which you kind of touched on a little bit, but can you talk about why you guys decided to build in web three and I know that you don't like calling them NFTS, you call them Cyborg Beings, but why did you decide to launch Cyborg Beings, and why are you building on web three, and then you again touched on a little bit why Hedera? Why did you guys choose Hedera Hashgraph, the Hedera network?

Cyber Hedera - Mazin – Founder
Why web three in general? Why not just sell them as normal art pieces and just continue with that? For me personally, and for the team members I get to speak on behalf of all of them it was about the idea of ownership. This is something that web3 has provided for artists that they didn't really have before. Before we have to be an artist can make a painting and sell it, and they no longer have any sort of right to it. Whoever sells it later on continue with it and the artist is just gone until they die and then that art piece gains value.  But with web three, and the royalty system it's just whoever buys the art piece, holds it, he owns that art piece with a smart contract, and the artist is still getting some sort of royalty revenue out of the resale value of their art. So you can see your creations really coming to life and increasing in value and you're actually gaining from that. That alone is a huge motivation for artists. To bring their artworks into this smart contracts, into this community, and that's just how the idea of taking them from this normal physical art into actual NFTs. Why the Hedera network? Hedera is a brilliant technology. I come from a cybersecurity background myself, and it's just an aBFT protocol was just all mind blowing. The level of security within Hedera, the fact that there are barely any gas fees, that was something different because when you go into different spaces, if you don't have the right entry for it financially, I mean you'll really struggle. But we see there anyone can start trading in these NFTs with minimal entry like amount in their wallets. And that was mind blowing, I come from Sudan, a third world country and my other teammates come from the Philippines in Manila. And the huge difference in finances between these countries and most first world countries is phenomenal. So you don't see a lot of people in Sudan or in the Philippines in Etherium NFTs and Solana NFTs.  Because what if I didn't get anything and I'm just paying a lot of gas. $5 is a lot of money where we come from. There's the idea that hey that $5 can actually be the investment itself rather than just the gas fees. We see that in a lot of our community members it's just the lack of gas fees, and the speed of the network itself, the sustainability of the Hedera network itself, plus the level of security, just makes Hedera a no brainer.

Y
eah I mean the one the one great thing that I've seen about Hedera is there's really no barrier to entry. Even from a user experience standpoint you know the wallets are they really came full 180 from where they were at even six months, a year ago. The community speaks for themselves with the community and the Hedera communities is absolutely amazing. You touched base on it a little bit especially with you being from Sudan and your team being from the Philippines but can you tell us how big is the team that you have right now?

Cyber Hedera - Mazin – Founder
We are a three man team. It's me, Richard our artist, and Joel. We take pride in Cyber Hedera even though there are only three creators we see all of our community members as Co-owners of the project and that's really how we managed to scale this project. With their advice, with their feedback, and being like “OK guys what do you want next? what type of utility should we provide? what directions should we go for?”. It started for really small community as I said our first collection was only ten pieces, so there were only 10 holders, and the creators, and we managed to scale from 10, to 100 piece, to 820 pieces, to different airdrops, different collections, and with the token, it just it grew the community grew and the business and the project grew because everyone just chips and everyone adds something to it. That's really something I love about web3 in general. When we look at normal businesses, it's always the form of a hierarchy pyramid owns the business, and everyone else is an investor or working in the business just below that. But when it comes to web three, everyone owns a part of it, everyone owns something and they can show proof that they actually own. So instead of having three people in the team I would say we are 1,000 members working on Cyber Hedera.

Genfinity – King Solomon – Founder & CEO
We've seen that especially I talk about this in Twitter spaces a lot. I haven't at least to this point seen a community that really comes together as much as the Hedera community comes together, and it's almost like everybody rowing the same way for the betterment of the network and the strength of the network which is fantastic.
